JOHN CARY

In 1810, John CARY was in Pompey, Onondaga County, New York. He was a farmer and served as Postmaster. His wife, Hannah moved to Onondaga Co. in 1805, probably from Saratoga Co., NY, when she was about 18 years old. We have no information on her parents, however, many descendants believe she may have been a PALMER. She is listed as a widow in the 1855 census. Some of John and Hannah's descendants moved on to Michigan and Wisconsin.
