"This is a big mall, Jake. Do you know where you want to go?" asked John.

"I'm not sure" said Jake. "I don't have very much money to buy presents. I guess we should just look around."

 
 
 

"It's nice that you want to buy presents for everyone, Jake....but you can't get anything for free" said John. Maybe you should be in school instead of shopping."

"I guess you're right" said Jake. "But I will feel very bad on Christmas morning if I don't have any gifts to give."
