One day, Jake and Jesse were walking through the mall when Jake spotted some handsome boots in a store window. Since he had no money, he called his friend, John. "Sure, Jake" said John, "you can buy the boots....when you get your first paycheck." "What's a paycheck?" asked Jake. "Your boss will give you one after you get a job." explained John. Jake thought for a minute and asked "Where do we get one, John?" "Try looking in the newspaper, Jake. There's lots of them." offered John
Jake thanked John and hung up. With his voice echoing though the mall, he let out a holler.... | |
