Well, I was standin' on a corner, in Winslow Arizona......
The Eagles sang it in the 70's. Now, there really is a guy 'standin' on the corner in Winslow, Arizona....although "he" is a bronze statue. It stands in front of an incredibly realistic mural, on the side of the nearby building. An "eagle", is "perched" on an upper level window ledge. In the first floor window is a "reflection" of the girl in the flatbed Ford. It looks so real that they say people wait for the eagle to take off. |
